Spectacular views and marvellous architecture


Cornwall is home to a significantly diverse landscape with nearly a third of the area recognised as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  With a number of spectacular sandy beaches such as Whitsand Bay and Lantic Bay providing great spots for surfers and water sport lovers to the remarkable 300 mile stretch of the South West Coast Path providing walkers some fantastic sights of headlands, valleys, moorland and coves. Restormal Castle is a perfect spot for some fantastic views and is a common place to enjoy a picnic. The remains of this 13th century circular castle is just a 20 minute drive from Deerpark.

Seaside towns and fishing villages


In the South of Cornwall you will find a number of picturesque fishing villages including favourites such as Looe and Polperro. Both only a short 15 minute drive away from our Deerpark location. Visit the elegant estate of Lanhydrock House and Gardens to experience life from a time gone by. The world famous Eden Project is just a 30 minute drive away and houses over a million plants from around the world. Take a trip to the ancient stannary town of Lostwithiel, just 20 minutes from our cabins. This lively little town has a calendar packed full of events including the Cornish Cider Festival and LostFest and is also known as the antiques capital of Cornwall.

Plenty to see and do


If sight-seeing isn’t your thing or you’re looking for something more pro-active why not head to Adrenalin Quarry and give the 40mph wild zip-wire a go, just 20 minutes away from our Deerpark cabins. Go Ape have a site located in Haldon Forest if it’s a tree-top adventure you’re after. Go Karting at Kartworld is another fast-paced day out – take a race on their 800 metre purpose built track. If you want something for the little ones why not visit the animals at the award-winning Pennywell Farm, the largest farm attraction in South West England which is just 55 minutes away.

Our Deerpark location is situated in the southeast of Cornwall, just 7 miles from the beaches at Looe and Polperro, making it an ideal seaside holiday destination. Secluded yet accessible, it is 10 minutes south of the A38 and 15 minutes drive from the market town of Liskeard, which is on the main London to Penzance train line.
