Breathtaking Scottish countryside and lochside views.
See waterfalls, forests and rivers (and discover the perfect picnic spot) along National Cycling Route 7 which goes straight past our cabins at Strathyre.
Push your limits while exploring the wilder spots of the Trossachs. This 24km route has serious climbs, swooping downhills and dramatic views. Best for experienced cyclists.
Start at Callander and tackle the climb to the 38km Duke’s Pass (one of most picturesque mountain biking routes in Scotland). A great day out.
Plan a family day out at Loch Katrine
Start your day out at Trossachs Pier on Loch Katrine and follow the shores of the lochs round to Stronachlachar.
This beautiful (and not too difficult) 21km route should only take a couple of hours. And the best bit? The return journey - cruising the loch on the Sir Walter Scott or the Lady of the Lake steamship back to your cabin.
Before you head out, remember to pack a picnic or pre-book a handy food delivery for when you get back. Yum.
The perfect way to kickstart your break at Strathyre.
