Our new neighbours at Strathyre are a group of cheeky pine martens. About the size of a domestic cat, the pine marten is a member of the Weasel family and Strathyre is one of the few places in the UK you will get to see them. These rare and engaging creatures are delighting our guests, who have been keeping a diary of their antics. Scotland is home to some of the UK's rarest and most magnificent wildlife species. Both our Scottish locations, Ardgartan Argyll and Strathyre, are ideal bases for a Scottish wildlife holiday.

The seaside town of Helensburgh is located on the shores of the Firth of Clyde, just 35 minutes away from Ardgartan Argyll and is perfect if you fancy a breath of sea air!
