Each location has its own unique feeling that makes it special
There’s so much to gain from time in the tub; from stress relief and muscle relaxation to improved sleep. After a day of discovery in the forest, slip into your hot tub and relax amongst birdsong and breath-taking views. It’s that extra dose of Forest Feeling that makes the difference. Why not create your own forest spa? Unwind with a treatment in the comfort of your cabin. We promise, it feels even better amongst the forest. Psst... looking for holiday cottages with hot tubs? Our Golden Oak Cottage at Keldy, North Yorkshire has a private sauna too!
The forest is for everyone - so we offer extra support to give you a stress-free break in nature. A Silver Birch Wheelchair-adapted hot tub cabin is waiting for you at every one of our 13 locations. Adapted facilities give easy access to the bathroom, bedrooms and hot tub, so you can enjoy a comfortable stay.
To make things even easier, our cabin is always close to the Forest Retreat, with space for two cars just outside. And don’t forget… our accessible cabins are pet-friendly too!
First of all, while furry friends are more than welcome here, we ask that they never join you in the hot tub! Let them relax on the decking while you enjoy it all to yourself instead. For safety reasons, children under 4 need to stay clear of the tub too.
No glass please — but you’ll see we’ve provided plastic glasses if you fancy a tipple in the tub. Don’t forget to remove all jewellery before hopping in too.
We clean the hot tubs regularly, but please remember to have a nice warm shower before and after. When you open the cover, don’t remove the cover lifter (this keeps the cover clean!). And be sure to cover it up again when you’re done, so woodland critters don’t get any ideas…
Finally, the decking gets slippery when wet — so go slow, don’t run and make sure to wear appropriate footwear. For more information on hot tub safety, have a chat with a friendly team member during your stay.
Your hot tub is situated on the decking area outside your cabin and is there for your use only.
We recommend speaking to your midwife or healthcare professional.
Our hot tubs comfortably seat up to 6 guests at one time.
To ensure water quality is maintained, you should not eat food in your hot tub. Plastic cups are provided for use in and around the hot tub and glass should not be used for your safety.
Our hot tubs are cleaned daily, and we follow guidance from The British and Irish Spa Hot Tub Association (BISHTA). You might see our team on your decking when they carry out daily checks. This is to ensure your hot tub is sanitised effectively.
Your hot tub is set at a fixed temperature so that the chemicals remain effective and water quality is maintained. Your hot tub is checked daily by our location team who will check the level of chemicals and water quality is safe for use.
If you are concerned about using your hot tub with a medical condition, please consult your GP or health professional.
All cabins at Forest Holidays come with a hot tub on the decking for you to enjoy.
Hot tub towels are provided in White Willow Premium and all Golden Oak cabin types. Regular bath towels are provided in all cabin types as standard.
Simply fold back the lid of your hot tub over the cover lifter and use this to place the cover down the side of the hot tub. Steps are provided to help you in and out, and the controls are simple: one button controls the jets and the other controls the light within the hot tub.
Further information about using your hot tub can be found on the TV in your cabin.
